I recently purchased a new car in Oregon, and will be traveling to Vancouver, BC for a weekend trip. The dealership filled out the necessary paperwork for the DMV, but I have not yet received my license plate and official registration. I currently have the temporary registration sticker in the rear window.
My question is whether it’s OK for me to drive to Vancouver with just the temporary registration?
Will I have any problems at the border, as long as I still have my passport and car insurance information?

You should be fine provided you have proof of ownership – even if it is temporary and proof of insurance. A current driver’s licence with an up to date address is also a good idea.
It should be fine. I live in Canada and know people who have gone down to the States just to buy a car and come back across the border with just the temporary registration.
