for about 3 days my left arm & sometimes my legs & right arm are falling asleep. most of today my arm has been tingling & stops for a sec & continues ! my chest feels a bit strained & i constantly hear alarms or ringing in my ear. im very worrieddd ! i am a bit on the plus size but this just started 3 days ago. i dont have insurance or the money for the doctors & on top of that my mom is traveling over seas until september
i dont know if its from stress but im worried. & its not that im sitting in a position thats cutting off blood, it happens when im standing, laying down & even sitting. my hands are going completely to sleep every other minute & im hoping theres some over the counter medicine i can buy. im 20 years old & yeah i dont understand. also, if it is bad, do you think i can last until late september ? thanks.
You have trapped nerves causing those problems which isn’t life threatening at all. So many of them can be from tight back muscles that could have trapped nerves going to the extremities that I have to go with that as the cause of those pains. That would go with the tight muscles in your chest. To get rid of these problems you have to free up your back muscles and here’s how to free them up:
Back:
(do while sitting)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
The tingling effects in your extremities occur as you know when an artery is occluded. If it occurs when you’re in a standing position, something else may be occluding your artery. This has been going on for almost a year now you should get it checked out. The ringing in the ears is called tinnitus. I’m not sure what causes that but you should look it up or refer to a health care specialist.

Some where from the base of your head to the area near your shoulder area is pinching. Try stretching your neck muscles by leaning it slowly in different directions. If it hurts on one side, slowly stretch the other. Roll your shoulders one way then the other. Try tensing up while you stretch then do it relaxed. Have your arms move in a circular motion and swing them from side to side. For your jaws try stretching your mouth by whispering your vowels as if you are yelling. My dentist says that chewing gum, bagels or anything chewy causes TMJ.
I like using ice on my neck when I am stiff. It brings the swelling down. A chiropractor usually runs about $50 a visit. You can call around to see if you can make payments. good luck
