i have an lg env, and its full of problems. i’m traveling alone this summer, and i need a phone i can rely on. verizon will not fix it, seeing as i don’t have insurance, and they already fixed it for 50 dollars once. so i have to pay full price for a new phone. having the env for so long, i want a qwerty keyboard phone, and i totally dislike the small samsung that flips open with a qwerty keyboard. looking at the full retail price, the motorola q 9m is actually very low, lower than the env even. i’d love to get that phone because it is cool and affordable, but can i purchase it without the data package? will i still be able to use the word and slideshow function? thanks so much!
to the first answerer, i said in my question, the full price of the phone is significantly lower than that of other phones that don’t do what it was. when i have to pay around 300 bucks for the phone, i am going to go for the cheaper one, regardless of if i’m neglecting some of it’s features.
If you intend on using those features, then you would need to get the dataplan… Plus, what is the use of purchasing the phone if you are not going to use all of its features?
You probably dont have to purchase the data plan ( i would call verizon) but there is no point in buying that phone if your not going to use all its features..
