    how long has it been there? It could be simple like an infected hair follicle for example or it could be more serious. If it gets worse or it’s been there a long time already you need to see a doctor. good luck

    Could be absolutely nothing more than a swollen gland.. I would not panic at this point.. But I would keep an eye on it, and if it gets bigger or more painful seek out Medical attention.

    Many reasons
    Regular Trauma ( take analgesic drug to execlude this reason)
    Lower wisdome tooth ( Panoramic x-ray will execlude that )
    Caries ( let someone see it )
    Pericoronitis / gum acute infection ( push on the gum on that area you will see gum bleeding)
    You can start today by taking Analgesic drugs ( ex. Iboprofen 400 mg ) and see it may go away

    ive had something simalar. is it under the chin? if you have a cold, it is probably a swolen neck gland.

    It could be a cyst or calcium build up in your skin.
