Hello all! I want to buy a new mid-size /sedan car in 5-6lacs range [on-road price should not exceed 6.5lacs]. I’ve some options on my mind -
1. Mahindra Renault Logan,
2. Hyundai Accent,
3. Ford Ikon Flair,
4. Tata Indigo
Plz suggest!
I’m looking for the following ‘must’ qualities in my car -
1. Good space & comfort: should have good rear leg-space, as most of time I’ll be in rear seats, and I’m a person with 6ft height and with some extra pounds around my body,
2. Good fuel efficiency: daily I’d travel around 40kms, 1200kms per month.
3. On-road price (inc taxes/insurances) should not exceed 6.5lacs
Go with the Renault Logan or the Ford Ikon Flair. They have small engines, so you’ll get good economy. They are also very well built and will last. The parts for the Ford is cheap, the Renault is a little more expensive.
The Hyundai and Tata aren’t the best of brands for reliability.
