I’m looking at getting a ford f150 without crumple zones. what year did they start adding them?
I figure with my good driving record, I won’t be hitting anything solid, so I’m willing to risk it to keep my truck from being irreparably destroyed. Had too many vehicles break and need something stronger as far as the body goes. I figured a mid-80′s f150 diesel would do it. Your suggestions welcome.
Should I worry about an Insurance Adjuster not totalling my Corolla when I feel its crumple zone is damaged.?
I was involved in an accident that was an off center rear impact. The other person who hit must have been traveling 35 – 40 mph as I was stopped at a light. The impact felt hard! I just bought this car new and it now has 2000 miles on it. The trunk is mangled and both sides of the rear quarter panels are buckled. No buckle on the roof is apparent.
