It is the latter.. my husband forgot a ticket once and that was all he had to do was pay a bigger ticket to clear it up. Your going to be fine to travel.

Look in your county under gov. They should have a website & you can pay with plastic. Otherwise call them & they will accept it. If you keep screwing around..they may issue an “arrest warrant”, and any uniform can pull you in..& you will be in an embarrassing situation..Car impounded, whatever.

You should be fine to travel. My husband got pulled over for an expired inspection sticker (Texas) and that was in 2006 and we moved to California so it was a bit difficult to get a hold of everyone. We traveled everywhere not knowing they had issued a warrant in 2008! Two years later they decided to issue a warrant? But good thing it was paid and everything is well now. I wouldn’t fret.

You’ll be fine. The only thing Law Enforcement does is contact the airline if you have a warrant and you are considered dangerous to the public. You need to call the clerk and just pay for this over the phone. If you can’t until you get back than that’s fine. The next day your home run down there and pay it. If you live in a small town they might arrest you and play with you a little in which they can do. Be polite and respectful.
