Average salary for mobile phlebotomist/insurance paramed examiner?

I am interested in becoming a paramedical examiner for insurance companies. Therefore, I am researching as much as possible before I make this drastic career change (I have a B.A. in Communications). My first question is of the big four paramed companies (Exam One, APPS, EMSI, Portamedic), which company pays the most? Also, what should I expect to make per visit and about how many clients will these companies send me per day? I know that my clientele depends on where I’m willing to travel, yet I wouldn’t want to sit around averaging two clients per day.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I live in NC and know that salaries vary, yet I haven’t a clue as to who pays the most and financially what to expect per visit as mentioned above.
