insurance rate go up? I have my permit and I was driving with a licensed adult in the passenger seat. The car is covered by Allstate. I do not believe I was at fault … there was a car at the green light, 2 on the right, one straight towards the light (me) and a car to the left. When the light turned green, the car waiting went, the first car to the right went, the second car to the right traveled half way and waved his hand, signaling us to go. At the time, the car to the left did not see me and I did not see it. I went ahead and traveled forward. Out of no where the car comes and rams the front left side of my wheels. Denting it, while denting there car at the upper right headlights. First question is who is at fault? and second question is will my parents insurance rate go up?

Yeah, your rates will go up and you might even lose your learners permit. Getting into an accident; regardless of who’s fault it is; is never good.
