They all offer you the exact same pay and benefits…… housing? I would just GUESS that it would be better in the air force, but the army is not that bad, you can be put up in a sh*thole in any branch though. Just look at the military 2009 pay scale. As for bonuses? Those can be different, and it changes month to month! One month it can be the army, and the next it could be national guard, who knows!

All the pay, benefits are the same across the board for the branches. The pay depends on what rank/rate you are and how many years in you have. You can qualify for base housing if you are married or if single live in barracks. health insurance is provided for AD members for free through the base clinics and hospitals.

National Guard will only pay you if you are on drill weekend, you will get Reserve tricare which you have to pay for.

Apple answered most of this, but as far as job, it depends on what you want to do. The Army & Marines do deploy the most. The NG does not offer much in the way of benefits unless you pay for them yourself or you are activated. As a regular NG member just doing your weekends you will not get housing, and not get medical benefits unless you pay for them. The NG does make it easiest if you are planning on going to college full time though. Pay is all the same, it is based on rank and time in service.
