    I think the chances of you getting arrested are slim to none. The airlines don’t check for warrants and unless you do something that leads to the TSA doing a background check on you, they shouldn’t have any other reason to check your background or arrest you.

    Just make sure you’re not carrying anything restricted or prohibited and have a valid government issued id. I can’t say for certain, but I think you’ll be ok.

    Gerald is basically correct. The TSA “background check” is limited to identifying individuals that pose a potential threat to aviation. The Kansas court would have to notify local law enforcment in Iowa, who would then have to arrest you. An FTA bench warrant for a minor offense isn’t worth the hassle for the courts and the police. They won’t take the time to arrest you and transport you back to Kansas for something like this.

    Just remember that airports are now swarming with cops, and they DO look for bail skippers and such.

    Just take care of the thing.

    This is a non issue. You’re not gonna get stopped at the airport. The airline and TSA won’t even know.
    (The way things stand now, at least)
